There is a student club in the Neue Mensa, which offers you a varied programme on many evenings of the week.

There were many small student clubs in the halls of residence before they were renovated, but these could no longer be continued due to a lack of escape routes or complaints from tenants. The two most famous were the "Geoclub" in the basement of Winklerstraße 20 and the "Chemikerklub" in Heinestraße. When it became clear that the Heinestraße residential complex would no longer be run by the student union and Winklerstraße 20 would be renovated, the two clubs joined forces and found a suitable home in the Neue Mensa. Geo" became "Erd" and "Chemiker" became "Alchimie".
