Private accommodation in Mittweida

The Studentenwerk Freiberg supports students (m/f/d) of the University of Applied Sciences Mittweida in their search for accommodation. For this purpose, we offer a private room placement service for externally offered rooms and flats.

The private accommodation service is a matter of course for private providers and room seekers free of charge.

We at Studentenwerk are aware that it is not easy for domestic students to find suitable accommodation at their place of study. However, the situation is much more difficult for international students: as a rule, they do not have the opportunity to travel to Germany for a few days to look for accommodation, but arrive directly at the start of their studies. In addition, they are often not familiar with the relevant internet portals that locals use to search. And last but not least, a lack of German language skills all too often makes it difficult to make contact. In order to support this group, which is particularly disadvantaged when it comes to finding accommodation, we have decided to set up and use the private accommodation service for international students in particular.
