Our accommodation ranges from single flats for maximum privacy to large shared flats for up to six people that enable communal living. Whether it's a flat share for two or six, everyone will find the right form of accommodation for their individual lifestyle and communication needs.

Our halls of residence offer a selection of locations directly on campus and close to Freiberg's old town, so that students can live centrally and comfortably. The Studentenwerk Freiberg also provides support in finding accommodation in the form of a free private accommodation service. This support is of particular benefit to international students who only arrive at the beginning of their studies and whose lack of German language skills makes it difficult to establish contact.

Living without limits

The basic facilities in our residential complexes include

furnished room (at least with bed including mattress and mattress protector, wardrobe, desk, shelf (mostly) and chair)
Kitchen with sink, refrigerators and cooking facilities
Baths with shower, WC and washbasin
Telephone and TV connection
Internet connection
Price = complete rent including all operating costs (also heating, electricity and internet)

Internet access in the residential complexes

For the tenants of our buildings we offer an unbeatably favourable service - the use of the fast network of the TU Bergakademie Freiberg. The costs for using the internet are included in the rent.

All residences are equipped with an internet connection for this purpose, but this must first be activated by the responsible administrator if you wish to use the internet. There are administrators for each house who are responsible for activation and support. They are also student tenants.

Registration takes place after arrival in your room with your personal Uni-Login in the IDM-Portal (notice in the showcase of your house or at www.stunet.tu-freiberg.de). There you will also find further information and instructions. If you do not have a university login on arrival, please speak to your responsible administrator about a guest login.
