Feldstraße 17/19

Our Feldstraße residential complex is in a quiet, green location, just a few minutes' walk from the university campus and the railway station. The building at Feldstraße 17/19 is currently being renovated and will be ready for occupancy in the winter semester 2026/2027. Shared flats for 2 and 3 people will be created there, with one shared flat for 2 and one shared flat for 3 people per entrance on each floor. This means that the Feldstraße 17/19 building will offer a total of 40 students space to sleep, study and celebrate and will also have:

  • Bicycle garage
  • Washing machine and tumble dryer for free use
  • a large garden with barbecue area
  • Car park at the house

The following items are not part of the basic equipment of our halls of residence:

  • Bedding (blanket, pillow) and Bed linen (but can be purchased at the student union)

  • Pots and Tableware

  • Small electrical appliances such as microwave, kettle, coffee machine etc.

  • You need your own router for WiFi

Internet access in the residential complexes

For the tenants of our buildings we offer an unbeatably favourable service - the use of the fast network of the Mittweida University of Applied Sciences. The costs for using the internet are included in the rent.

All residences are equipped with an internet connection for this purpose, but this must first be activated by the responsible administrator. The network is managed by the student organisation MCN.

Important notes

  • Due to the high demand (especially in the winter semester), please apply as early as possibleto improve your chances of finding a place to live! We accept applications at any time and process them in accordance with certain priorities (see User regulations for the student residences) in the order of the date of receipt.
  • Acceptance for a study place or enrolment is not a requirementto apply for a place to live! You only need to present the enrolment certificate when you sign the tenancy agreement.
  • You will receive all the information you need to conclude the tenancy agreement with the confirmation of accommodation. However, you are also welcome to enquire at any time.
